FOREVER originates from Patrick Tuttofuoco's (Milan, 1974) interest in the theme of the experience of time. Going beyond mere digital rhetoric, the Non-Fungible-Token (NFT) becomes a new medium for the expression of artistic research: the concept of time is translated and applied to digital, creating a new space-time continuum. The idea is to strive for infinity, to go beyond material boundaries, creating a new field of action that produces and at the same time transcends the existence of the artwork. With references to the most ancient theories on time, FOREVER tells of a suspended, cyclical, absolute time, proposing itself as a contemporary interpretation of ouroboros. The narration takes place through a bottle, which, initially containing water, is cyclically transformed into a Molotov cocktail, in a dichotomous and continuous alternation between water and fire, symbol of the polar contrast between good and evil and of the duality of frequencies of human existence. Although with a perspective free from judgment, FOREVER invites a reflective and investigative approach to the existence, the possibilities, the associations of the collective unconscious and the new perspectives of observation.

Patrick Tuttofuoco's practice builds a dialogue between individuals and their ability to transform the environment in which they live. He explores the notions of community and social integration in order to combine the immediate sensory appeal and the power to trigger deep theoretical responses.
